Larceny in the 235th pick lands the Bengals a D, Brown and all.

Somebody took the Bengals to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Brown at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
