There is reaching, and then there is Thor Griffith at the 238th pick. The Commanders jumped the board by 72 and dared it to prove them wrong. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Gadsden II at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
