The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Malachi Moore, Round 5, Pick 11, roughly 55 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Reaching for Griffith left real value on the table behind him. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. With cornerback and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.
