The Packers kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

It is a puzzling start. The Packers had edge rusher, quarterback and other spots to solve and reached instead for Maason Smith, a DT-EDGE, at pick No. 88.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting McMorris proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Chambers value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

In the 25th overall pick they get a sticky cover corner, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
