Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent Round 7, Pick 24 on Jalen Travis, a name the board had a full 38 spots lower. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Starks pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
