The rest of the league will want that one back. Malaki Starks tumbling to the Dolphins in the 115th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Every board in the league had Griffith lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
