The Bills treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 198th overall pick on Jaylen Harrell a full 23 spots early.

However the rest shakes out, McClellan at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
