The trade table was where it all came apart. The Browns shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Milroe pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
