The Commanders turned the phones into found money: B+.

The Commanders did not so much draft Thor Griffith as overpay for him, 46 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned. The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Commanders paired the rookies with proven help, Pat Surtain II leading the way.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
