The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Raheim Sanders, the No. 148 name on the board, in the 200th pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They will need Griffith to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
