Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall A-
ValueB- NeedB TradesA+ FutureA+
Best value of the weekend goes to the Seahawks for Wilson: A-.

Thirty-one other rooms let Jared Wilson slide, and the Seahawks were the ones holding the card at the Round 4 slot. Highway robbery. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Hamilton reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Marcus Mbow and all.

Pick Analysis
Pick50 Rnd2 Marcus Mbow
Marcus Mbow in pick 50 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick52 Rnd2 Aireontae Ersery
Aireontae Ersery in pick No. 52 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick82 Rnd3 Mason Taylor
Nothing to complain about; Mason Taylor went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick92 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson slid further than he should have, and slot 92 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick137 Rnd4 Jared Wilson
Jared Wilson in Round 4, Pick 35 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick172 Rnd5 JJ Pegues
They liked JJ Pegues enough to skip the value, taking him in the 172nd overall pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick174 Rnd5 Jack Nelson
A straight-up fair deal on Jack Nelson at the 174th pick, value and slot in agreement. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick175 Rnd5 Jack Kiser
Jack Kiser at No. 175 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick223 Rnd7 Ty Hamilton
A big swing on Ty Hamilton at pick No. 223, well ahead of any board in the building. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick234 Rnd7 Jackson Hawes
A premium they did not need to pay, Jackson Hawes a notch or two before his time. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
