The Browns left with their quarterback, and a A- to match.

When a board-topper like Malachi Moore slides to No. 216, you do not overthink it, and the Browns did not. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

Jaxson Dart is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will need Dart to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The Tyler Smith pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Bottom line, with Jaxson Dart leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

In the Round 1 slot they get their guy under center for the next decade, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
