Best value of the weekend goes to the Chiefs for Williams: B. Call it larceny. Savion Williams sat on the board until pick 136, and the Chiefs did not need to be asked twice. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Conner has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
