The phones sank the Commanders this weekend: C.

Somebody took the Commanders to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

They will need Baron to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

On value alone, Amos makes the weekend a net positive. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
