Nobody had Jaden Crumedy this high, and it is not close. The Steelers reached 48 spots to get him at the 178th overall pick. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
