The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Steelers reached some 47 spots for Jaden Crumedy, and value like that does not grow back.

The Johnson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Steelers indulged a want in Fisher while a need in quarterback, safety and other spots stayed open.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
