A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Khristian Boyd in pick No. 119. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The McCormick pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, safety and other spots still on the board. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Alt. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
