A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Steelers started one anyway for Jalen Coker, 55 picks ahead of schedule.

However the rest shakes out, Lassiter at that price is a win they earned. The Steelers indulged a want in McCormick while a need in quarterback, safety and other spots stayed open.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They went 4 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
