Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Steelers spent slot 178 on Jaden Crumedy, a name most had 31 spots down the list.

The Nourzad pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, edge rusher and other spots still on the board. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
