The Patriots treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending slot 252 on Noah Daniels a full 135 spots early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Harvey falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
