Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jamaree Caldwell at the 240th pick is 92 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

That Stutsman pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Spending an early pick on linebacker with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
