Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Lions came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

They will need Mahogany to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. It is not that Jackson is a bad player; it is that the Lions had louder needs to answer first.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
