Watts should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B.

The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Xavier Watts, the No. 46 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 4 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

Wedig has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
