The tape said wait; the Broncos did not. Bru McCoy went at the Round 6 slot, a good 104 picks before the board was ready. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Ransom value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
