The Patriots spent real capital to be 110 picks early on Jamaree Caldwell, and the board is going to hold them to it. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They banked enough surplus on Mondon Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
