A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Texans get a C+.

It is a puzzling start. The Texans had interior defensive lineman, offensive lineman and other spots to solve and reached instead for Maason Smith, a DT-EDGE, at the 85th overall pick. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Barrett proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The Watson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
