The Giants drew a line under the quarterback search with Ward: B.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Cam Ward is the Giants' quarterback, full stop. No fireworks, but a solid B.

However the rest shakes out, Pierce at that price is a win they earned. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
