The Texans fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B-.

The Texans went off the board in a big way for Julius Welschof, 101 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, offensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
