The Bengals went off the board in a big way for Jarquez Hunter, 95 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Dart falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
