If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bills would have aced it. Dayon Hayes at No. 179 is 117 spots clear of where he belonged. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
