There is reaching, and then there is Kain Medrano at slot 222. The Patriots jumped the board by 90 and dared it to prove them wrong. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

They banked enough surplus on Giddens to cover a lot of smaller sins. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Knight Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
