The Patriots lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Oluwafemi Oladejo in No. 128. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The Skattebo pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
