The Dolphins checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named edge rusher, a need the Dolphins walked right past.

They will need Reid to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Strong. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
