Draft Grade — Commanders

FutureB-
The Commanders did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-. The Commanders clearly saw something nobody else did in Oluwafemi Oladejo, taking him 110 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Marks. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Nick Emmanwori
In No. 30 they get an enforcer at safety at a price that makes it sweeter.
Pick61
Rnd2
TreVeyon Henderson
A clean, defensible pick in the 61st overall pick with a little surplus value in TreVeyon Henderson. It fills a real need, too.
Pick109
Rnd4
Jared Wilson
Nothing to complain about; Jared Wilson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick128
Rnd4
Oluwafemi Oladejo
Oluwafemi Oladejo in the Round 4 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The roster fit checks out.
Pick132
Rnd4
Ty Robinson
They left a pile of value on the table to take Ty Robinson this early at Round 4, Pick 30. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick177
Rnd6
Dont'e Thornton Jr.
A tidy little value on Dont'e Thornton Jr. in pick No. 177, a step better than break-even. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick205
Rnd6
Shemar James
Shemar James at Round 6, Pick 29 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick236
Rnd7
Luke Lachey
Luke Lachey in the Round 7 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick248
Rnd7
Woody Marks
They will replay Woody Marks at No. 248 for years; that is how good the value is. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
