More right than wrong for the Commanders, and a B- to prove it.

The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jack Nelson, the No. 170 name on the board, in the 236th pick. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Every board in the league had Sorrell lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
