The Broncos robbed the room for Franklin. Final grade: D. Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Broncos, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.
The Sainristil pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
They will need Johnson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.
