If confidence were a draft strategy, the Commanders would have aced it. Caden Prieskorn at the Round 7 slot is 109 spots clear of where he belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Trey Hendrickson pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
