The Broncos let Pearsall fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The Pearsall pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Broncos paired the rookies with proven help, Elgton Jenkins leading the way.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
