The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. It is not that Sainristil is a bad player; it is that the Broncos had louder needs to answer first. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Sainristil has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
