Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall B
ValueA- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Broncos robbed the room for Henderson. Final grade: B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Broncos watched TreVeyon Henderson slide 62 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The McLaughlin pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

Pick Analysis
Pick20 Rnd1 Tetairoa McMillan
In Round 1, Pick 20 they get a difference-maker at receiver at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
Pick51 Rnd2 Tyler Warren
Tyler Warren at the 51st pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the tight end. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick87 Rnd3 Jihaad Campbell
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Jihaad Campbell in pick 87, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick123 Rnd4 TreVeyon Henderson
TreVeyon Henderson at the 123rd overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick190 Rnd6 Rod Moore
They barely believed it either: Rod Moore still on the board at No. 190. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick195 Rnd6 Seth McLaughlin
They paid a round early for Seth McLaughlin in the Round 6 slot, more than the board wanted. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
