The Cowboys clearly saw something nobody else did in Jamaree Caldwell, taking him 48 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Gillotte pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end.

That Dart pick is the receipt they will wave around later. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
