Quarterback settled, Ward in the fold, and a D for the Dolphins. You could see the war room lean forward. Xavier Restrepo at the Round 7 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Everything downstream of Cam Ward depends on Cam Ward, and the building knows it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
