The tape said wait; the Cowboys did not. Shemar Turner went at the 174th pick, a good 27 picks before the board was ready. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Duck pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
