Grand theft in the 189th pick: the Broncos steal Simpson and grade out a D.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. They will need McLaughlin to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That Simpson pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
