There is reaching, and then there is Noah Daniels at pick No. 257. The Patriots jumped the board by 130 and dared it to prove them wrong. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Getting Giddens where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
