The Broncos got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The Broncos torched the value chart for Joe Milton III, taking him 49 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker and interior defensive lineman still on the board. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That Cowing pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
