The Lions fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

The Lions ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, safety and other spots still on the board.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Stogner. Reaching for Beebe left real value on the table behind him.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
