Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB
A solid, sensible weekend for the Titans: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. JD Bertrand tumbling to the Titans in Round 7, Pick 5 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Every board in the league had Haynesworth lower, and that gap is the story. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Olumuyiwa Fashanu
In the 10th overall pick they get a building block for the line at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick38 Rnd2 Quinyon Mitchell
A tidy little value on Quinyon Mitchell in the Round 2 slot, a step better than break-even. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick72 Rnd3 Malachi Corley
Malachi Corley in pick No. 72 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick107 Rnd4 Darius Robinson
They went early on Darius Robinson in the 107th overall pick, and the value did not follow. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick141 Rnd5 Sincere Haynesworth
Sincere Haynesworth in Round 5, Pick 5 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick184 Rnd6 Kitan Oladapo
The board had Kitan Oladapo higher than pick 184, and the safety fell to them anyway. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick225 Rnd7 JD Bertrand
JD Bertrand in slot 225 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The roster fit checks out.
