Grand theft in slot 157: the Packers steal Porter and grade out a A-. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Darien Porter got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at Round 5, Pick 19. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The Nate Wiggins deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
They are betting Ivey proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
