The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Commanders watched Alfred Collins slide 113 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will need James to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
